Here is another cedar cabin that was built also in the 1800’s. These old growth cedar logs were up to 3 feet in size. The bay window in the picture is 4 feet tall so you can see from the log joints how thick they are . The logs were split in half because of there size and the flat side is to the interior. We went in and crush glass blasted the interior and applied a clear finish. By doing this you can see the grain detail.
